Vendor Information
The Carnival Parade will start at 12:00pm from Runwell Park and is estimated to arrive at Nevendon Park by 1:30pm.
The Funday at Nevendon is open to the public 12:00pm-5:00pm.
The site of the event is Nevendon Road, Wickford, Essex, SS12 0QG - The entrance is via Nevendon Road by the zebra crossing.
Vendors will be assigned a pitch position by the Pitch Marshall on the day of the event. One pitch area will be 4m x 4m, however if you require more space this can be organised for an additional cost when mentioned in the application form.
No cars will be able to remain next to the pitch and must be moved to the allocated parking area by 11:00am - vehicles left on site must not be moved until after 6.00pm.
Access to the site will be from 8:00am until 10:00 am for vendors only. All vehicles not necessary for the event must be off the field by 10:30am at the latest.
Parking will be available in a designated area (to be advised on the day)
Vendors will provide all tables, chairs, display boards, power and lighting if required, as none of these will be available to hire or lend on the day.
This is a public event held in the open and vendors are advised to ensure they have adequate protection against the weather.
All vendors must have adequate Public Liability Insurance and any other insurance or certification legally required for them to operate (hygiene, safety, etc.) Vendors are responsible for their own Risk Assessment and the safe erection of any equipment.
Wickford Town Carnival Association will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to stall holder’s vehicles, equipment, or personal belongings before, during or after the event.
It is the duty of the pitch hirer to ensure that all waste/rubbish generated by them is removed from the site by the end of the event.
This is a photographed event whereby photos taken by our official photographer will be used on various media such as (but not limited to), event programmes, social media, news articles, history archives and other printed media. By being part of the day, you are agreeing for all members involved to be photographed and for these photos to be used as stated above.
Please note that our event does not hold a Performing Rights Society (PRS) License for our Carnival. You therefore should not play any music composed by a PRS member in our Carnival – unless you first hold the artists written permission.
Once applications have been accepted an invoice will be sent. Payments are non-refundable and must be made within 30 days of the invoice issue date.
